The radioprotective effect of Aloe leaf extract (1000mg/kg b.wt) was studied in liver of Swiss albino mice before radiation exposure (3 Gy gamma-radiation). Mice were autopsied at day 5 post irradiation and liver was taken for histopathological studies. In this study, appearances of some normal hepatocytes were noticed in both control and experimental sets.
