After M.Sc. if you qualify CSIR NET-JRF you can apply for the post of Assistant professor post in various government and private college and if you are interested in research field then do Ph.D under a good professor as it will bring opportunities in your carrier by adding new dimensions in your knowledge. The eligibility criteria for CSIR NETexam is Completed Masters in science with minimum 55% .You get scholarship for Ph.D. after qualifying JRF and its validity is two years. You can go for research in IITs, IISc, IISER, BHU etc these are top research institutes where students can further increase their knowledge in chemistry. To work in PSUs like ONGC, IOCL ,HPCLetc you have to qualify GATE exam with rank under 20.There are plenty of job opportunities for students from chemistry field.
