Students Explored Opportunities for Study, Scholarships, and Careers in Japan
The four-day 21st Indo-Japan International Conference “BICON-2026” was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Biyani Group of Colleges. On the first day of the conference, a special seminar on the theme “Study in Japan” was organized at Takshashila Auditorium, Maheshwari Public School, Jawahar Nagar.
The seminar provided students with valuable information about higher education, language training, scholarships, skill development, employment, and career opportunities in Japan. The sessions offered students an opportunity to understand the academic and professional pathways available in Japan.
A Traditional Beginning to BICON-2026
The program commenced with the welcome of distinguished guests, followed by a Ganesh Vandana presented by students of Maheshwari Public School. The traditional presentation marked the beginning of the four-day international conference.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest IAS Samit Sharma and Special Guest Mr. Yasuyuki Nakayama, First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan. Other eminent guests included Mrs. Rita Bhargava, Principal of Maheshwari Public School; CA Sanjay Maheshwari from ECMS; and Mr. Arun Malu.
The guests were welcomed by Organizing Chairman Dr. Rajeev Biyani, Academic Director Dr. Sanjay Biyani, Director of Research and Development Dr. Manish Biyani, Assistant Director Dr. Radhika Biyani, Assistant Director CA Abhishek Biyani, Assistant Director CA Sakshi Biyani, and Principal & Dean Dr. Dhyan Singh Gothwal. The dignitaries were felicitated with bouquets, shawls, and mementos.
JAI 2050: Connecting Indian Talent with Japan
Delivering the welcome address, Dr. Manish Biyani, Director of Research and Development, spoke about employment challenges in India and the labour shortage being experienced in Japan. He outlined the vision of the “JAI 2050” mission, which aims to create opportunities for Indian talent in Japan.
JAI 2050 Initiative: According to Dr. Biyani, 53 schools from 9 major cities have been selected for the initiative, creating a platform to connect students with international education and career opportunities.
He emphasized that understanding Japanese language and culture is essential for students aspiring to study or work in Japan. He also highlighted the importance of active learning in achieving long-term educational and professional goals.
Highlighting Japan’s advancements in technology and healthcare, he encouraged students to explore global opportunities and prepare themselves for future careers. He also described Gulabi 2026 and the Sakura Science Program as significant platforms for academic and cultural exchange between India and Japan.
