Biyani Group of Colleges, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, organized a large blood donation camp to commemorate the 24th Punyatithi of Late Shri Jugal Kishore Biyani, the founder and guiding force behind the institution. The initiative was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit in collaboration with Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank and Rotary Club, with the objective of promoting the spirit of social responsibility and humanitarian service among students and staff.
Students, faculty members, and employees of the college participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp and donated their blood for this noble cause. In total, 82 units of blood were collected in the camp. The donated blood will be used to help save and improve the lives of those in need, serving as a way to give back to society.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the distinguished guests and the members of Biyani Group. Dr. Rajiv Biyani (Chairman), Dr. Sanjay Biyani (Director), Dr. Dhyan Singh Gothwal (Dean and Principal), and other dignitaries were present to attend the event and pay homage to the late founder.
The medical arrangements and blood collection were carried out efficiently with the help of the team of Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank. The team, under the guidance of medical professionals, ensured that the entire process was conducted smoothly and safely. The SMS Hospital Women's Medical College/ Hospital team has also supported the camp and has helped to organise the event.
The event showcased the values of Late Shri Jugal Kishore Biyani – Service, Compassion and humanity. The institution's move was an attempt not only to honor his legacy, but also his vision of making a difference in society and in the lives of those in need.
They were heartened by the good turnout of blood donors and volunteers. The camp also spread awareness about regular blood donation and motivated young students to donate blood for the welfare of the community.
The camp, which was organized successfully, once again proved Biyani Group of Colleges' dedication towards Blood donation and social welfare in a befitting manner and also celebrated the 24th Punyatithi of Late Shri Jugal Kishore Biyani.
