Shakti Vandan: Celebrating the Spirit of Womanhood

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special event titled Shakti Vandan was organized by former Mayor Soumya Gurjar to celebrate the strength, dignity, and evolving role of women in society. The event served as a meaningful platform to reflect on the deeper essence of womanhood and to inspire young minds with powerful ideas and perspectives.

As part of the program, Dr. Sanjay Biyani was invited to attend an insightful session titled “Stree – Deh Se Aage”, delivered by Gulab Kothari, the Senior Editor-in-Chief of Rajasthan Patrika. Through his thought-provoking address, Gulab Ji Kothari spoke about the deeper identity of women beyond the physical form, highlighting the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions that define womanhood in Indian philosophy and culture. His words encouraged the audience to rethink societal perceptions and appreciate the profound strength that women embody.

The event also became a moment of pride for Biyani Group of Colleges when Kajal Singh, a 3rd Semester B.Sc. Biotechnology student, delivered a captivating performance. She presented a beautiful fusion of Kathak and Yoga based on the Adiyogi theme, symbolically portraying strength, grace, and the divine feminine energy.

Around 80 students from Biyani Group of Colleges attended the session and returned with a renewed sense of inspiration and empowerment. The experience offered them valuable insights and an opportunity to engage with meaningful conversations about the role of women in society.

A special highlight of the event was the felicitation of Dr. Sanjay Biyani by Gulab Ji Kothari and Dr. Soumya Gurjar, acknowledging his continuous contribution to education and youth empowerment.
