Indian Students to Get Education and Employment Opportunities in Japan Through the Indo-Japan Global Course
On the third day of the four-day 21st Indo-Japan International Conference ‘BICON-2026’ organized at Biyani Group of Colleges, special sessions were organized by the Commerce, Management and IT departments on the theme “Building the AI-Powered Economy: Innovation, Strategy and Governance”. Experts shared their views on topics such as global AI adoption, digital inclusion, predictive modeling, business optimization and data privacy.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and Krishna Vandana. This was followed by a traditional welcome to the guests, speakers and Japanese delegates.
MoU Signed Between OCTB and Biyani Group of Colleges
As an important initiative in this regard, an MoU was signed between Mr. Kyou and Mr. Naveen of Osaka College of Tourism and Business (OCTB) and Chairman of Biyani Group of Colleges, Dr. Rajeev Biyani. Academic Director Dr. Sanjay Biyani and Research and Development Director Dr. Manish Biyani were also present on the occasion. This MoU is an initiative to provide a new direction to academic cooperation and international partnership between India and Japan.
Meanwhile, Conference Organizing Chair and Director (Research and Development) Prof. Dr. Manish Biyani informed that under this partnership, the framework for the OCTB–Biyani T2C (Training to Career) Joint Education and Job Programme has been prepared.
Three-Year Education and Job Programme
In this three-year programme, during the first year, students will be provided training in Japanese language and the related course at Biyani Group of Colleges, along with preparation for going to Japan. During the second and third years, students will receive complete Japanese language training, professional education and preparation for jobs in Osaka, Japan. Along with this, there are plans to provide them with good salaries and 100 percent placement opportunities.
He informed that students will get opportunities for part-time jobs in fields such as tourism, hotels, restaurants, retail and customer service in Japan along with their studies, enabling them to bear the cost of their education themselves and become financially independent.

With the vision of “Start in India, Study in Japan, Build a Global Career”, this three-year programme will create a new pathway for students from Biyani to Osaka for education, training and jobs.
Introduction to Osaka College and Career Opportunities
Mr. Kyou and Mr. Naveen from the Osaka Convention and Tourism Bureau introduced the Osaka College to the students and familiarized them with Japanese culture and systems. They also provided information about education and career-related opportunities in Osaka.
AI and the Intelligent Economy
Meanwhile, special guest Dr. Sheenu Jhanwar, Director of Apex Hospitals, said that with the increasing use of advanced machine learning and AI, we are moving from a digital economy towards an intelligent economy, and therefore, limited, balanced and responsible use of AI and digital technology is necessary.
Prof. Krishna Kant Dev, Group Vice Chancellor of Venkateshwar University, Uttar Pradesh, addressed the programme online. He also highlighted the civilizational and technological relations between India and Japan and said, “The future will be built through the confluence of technology and civilization.”
Gulabi 2026 Participants Share Their Experiences
During the programme, Japanese participants of ‘Gulabi 2026’ shared their experiences of their India visit and exchange programme. Through their experiences, they presented their interactions with Indian culture, education and students.
Technical Session on AI-Powered Economy
In the technical session, Nimay Kalyani, Campus Director of GIFT City University of Wollongong, Gujarat; Assistant Prof. Vaishali Jayesh Padke of K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai; Prof. Dr. Pratishtha Mathur of Manipal University; Prof. Dr. Ritu Bhargava of Sophia College, Ajmer; and Uma Sudheendra, Chairperson of Strategic Research and Growth Foundation, New Delhi, shared their views on various aspects related to AI-powered economy, innovation, strategy and governance.
HR Conclave and Panel Discussion
This was followed by an HR Conclave and panel discussion, chaired by Training and Placement Head Dr. Smriti Tiwari. The panel included Uma Sudheendra, Chairperson of Strategic Research and Growth Foundation, Delhi; Bobby from the Campus Recruitment Team of Metacube; Ankur Seth, National Head of Tata Capital; Ankit Pitaliya, Founder of Stark Professional; and Divya Panwar, Senior Relationship Manager at Bank of Baroda.
Young Oral Presentation and Award Ceremony
This was followed by the Young Oral Presentation session, in which participants presented their research papers. The session was chaired by Dr. Pawan Patodia and Rahul Agrawal. At the end of the programme, the Oral Presentation Award Ceremony, memento distribution and closing ceremony were organized.
At the end of the session, Director of the institution Dr. Sanjay Biyani expressed his gratitude and thanked all the guests, speakers and participants.
