Industrial Visit to Gud Mishri Factory, Kanota (Jaipur)
On August 23, 2025, seventy-seven commerce students and four faculty members visited the Gud Mishri factory in Kanota, Jaipur, to gain practical insights into food production and management. Upon arrival, the group underwent a security check and received a safety briefing. Students were divided into batches and shown the assembly line, where they learned about the company’s use of natural ingredients like whole wheat, millet, jaggery, saffron, and Amul butter, while avoiding refined sugar, artificial colors, and preservatives. The production and packaging processes, quality checks, and handling of rejected products were explained in detail. An interactive session with owner Mr. Yashwant Bafna provided insights into operations, market strategies, and ethical practices. The visit included a complimentary breakfast and offered students hands-on exposure to industry practices. Overall, the trip enriched their understanding of manufacturing, quality management, and professional practices, contributing to academic and career development.
Industrial Visit – Yarn Merchants & Manufacturers
Students of the Department of Fashion Designing (Semester 1 & Semester 3) visited yarn merchants and manufacturers at Ramganj during college hours (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM). During the visit, students gained valuable knowledge about yarn materials, manufacturing processes, and market practices. They interacted with merchants and learned alongside their faculty members, making the experience both educational and practical. For many students, it was their first opportunity to visit such a location, making the visit memorable and enriching.
Youth Parliament Empowering Students in Jaipur
The Constitution Club Jaipur organised a two-day Youth Parliament for students on 23rd and 24th November, 2025 highlighting democratic values, leadership and political awareness. The event featured mock parliamentary sessions, debates on national issues, exercises in policymaking and workshops led by experts and social leaders. It helped develop students’ public speaking, critical thinking and governance knowledge and inspired active engagement with India’s democracy.
