Eligibility : As per university norms a candidate who has taken the 55% marks in aggregate at the LL.B. Professional 3 Year and 5 Year at the qualifying examination as prescribed in the rules for General and OBC Category and 50% marks for SC/ST.

SUBJECTS

LL.M. PART-I
Every candidate offering himself for LL.M. Part-I Examination shall be examined in the following papers. Each paper shall be of three hours duration and carry 100 marks.
Paper I : Legal Theory
Paper II : Legislation – Principles, Methods and Interpretation
Paper III : Legal Research Methodology
Paper IV : Constitutional Law of India : New Challenges
Paper V : Viva-Voce
Note : For Paper V, the candidate has to appear for his/her viva-voce examination of all the other four papers of Part-I which shall also carry 100 marks and project report to be submitted by every student is mandatory requirement.

LL.M. PART-II
Every candidate offering himself for the LL.M. Part-II Examination shall be examined in four papers belonging to anyone of the following branches. Each paper shall be of three hours duration and carry 100 marks.
Branch I : Contractual, Business & Corporate Law
Branch II : Tort and Crimes
Branch III : Personal Law
Branch IV : Constitutional Law
Branch V : Property Law
Branch VI : International Law
Branch VII : Labour Law
Note : For the provision of writing dissertation in lieu of one paper, refer to the syllabus. Any two branch may be permitted by the Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Rajasthan.
