General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
The General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year diploma course that trains students in general patient care, maternal health, and emergency nursing. The curriculum covers anatomy, physiology, first aid, midwifery, community health nursing, and healthcare management. Students gain hands-on experience in hospitals, maternity wards, and rural healthcare centers. The program prepares graduates for careers in nursing homes, clinics, and maternity care units, equipping them with practical skills in patient care, maternal assistance, and emergency response.
Admission Criteria: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
Admission Requirements:
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
The minimum educational requirement shall be 10+2 in any stream from CBSE/Equivalent board with min 40% for general and OBC and 35% for SC and ST candidates.
Candidate should be medically fit.
Entrance / Selection Test:
Admission will be done through Government Counselling.
Duration:
Duration of the course shall be 3 Years (6 Semesters).
