The Biyani Group of Colleges' students got a much-needed break from their studies by participating in a special "Picnic and Wellness Day" at the Champapura campus. It was a celebration of physical fitness, mental health, positivity, teamwork and healthy living, all in one through wellness sessions, sports and recreational activities.
The morning started with a focus on the significance of adopting a healthy and balanced way of living. Dr Sanjay Biyani (Director) interacted with the students and spoke about the importance of yoga and Ayurveda in day-to-day life. He urged pupils to embrace healthy living and balance their studies with their health and safety. He also discussed the significance of Satsang and Simran and encouraged the students to have positive thoughts and a positive approach to life.
The event was a chance for students to enjoy a variety of physical and recreational activities. The activities included sports games like Tug of War, Cricket, and Volleyball, which brought energy and excitement to the campus, and Yoga sessions, which encouraged mindfulness and relaxation. Students enjoyed the activities, showing team spirit, cooperation, coordination and sportsmanship in the activities.
The students of the Commerce & Management, Journalism and IT departments actively participated in the programme. The students of various other departments, like Humanities, Science, Fashion and Visual Arts, and Law, also participated in various activities organised in the course of the Picnic and Wellness Day.
The event was not just about sports and entertainment, but also offered students a great opportunity to connect with fellow students in a natural and relaxed setting. Time spent outside and in group settings fostered a non-threatening and relaxed environment and the development of communication and social bonding skills between students.
The Picnic and Wellness Day was a testimony of Biyani Group of Colleges' dedication towards the all-round development of the students. This holistic approach to academics, health, recreation, physical activity, and socialisation further strengthened the importance of your mind and body working together for personal and academic development.
In general, students enjoyed the event, and it was a good and memorable time for them. It allowed them the opportunity to get out of school and enjoy the outdoors, spend time with their fellow students, learn more about each other and learn about the value of living a healthy lifestyle.
