Plenary Talk on Green Fluorescent Protein

The plenary talk titled “Green Fluorescent Protein: Journey of a Nobel Discovery” was organized by Biyani Girls College, Jaipur, on 27 April 2026 at the Utsav Auditorium. The session was delivered by Prof. Rakesh K. Tyagi, Professor at the Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The primary objective of the talk was to provide an in-depth understanding of the discovery, mechanism, and wide-ranging applications of Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) in modern biological research. The event was efficiently coordinated by the organizing committee comprising Dr. Sanjay Biyani (Director – Academics), Dr. Radhika Biyani Daga (Assistant Director), Dr. Dhyan Singh Gothwal (Principal), and Dr. Shilpa Bhargava (HOD, Science), along with all faculty members of the Science Department.
