The Department of Commerce & Management achieved a significant milestone with the launch of a 90-Hour Certificate Program in Banking, Finance & Insurance (CPBFI) in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv Ltd. At a time when theoretical learning must be complemented with practical industry exposure, this initiative proved to be highly impactful.
Exclusively designed for BBA V Semester and B.Com. V Semester students, the program aimed to provide in-depth knowledge of the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector, preparing students for real-world challenges.
Designed for Tomorrow’s Professionals
Conducted from October 9 to November 26, 2025, the workshop was held daily from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Manthan, the designated venue for this knowledge-driven program. A total of 50 enthusiastic students participated, reflecting their keen interest in building successful careers in the BFSI sector.
Learning Program with Industry Relevance
The CPBFI workshop was carefully structured to cover a wide range of essential topics required for a successful career in banking and insurance:
- Banking Operations & Digital Banking: Understanding modern banking systems and digital financial services.
- Insurance Fundamentals: Introduction to insurance concepts and various types of insurance products.
- Self-Management Skills: Time management, goal setting, and building a professional personality.
- Communication Skills: Business etiquette, interpersonal communication, presentation techniques, and workplace readiness.
