STUDENTS’ ADVISORY BUREAU (SAB)
Biyani Group of Colleges has constituted Student Advisory Bureau under the guidance of an Advisory Committee of renowned and experienced members. The team consists of highly qualified members who are competent to deal with all personal, psychological and career related queries of the students.
VARIOUS COMMITTEES
Managing people is the quintessence of success. Realizing this need, the college has constituted a number of committees for the smooth functioning of various academic and non-academic activities. These include Anti-Ragging Committee, Discipline Committee, Industrial & Educational Tour Committee, FDP Committee, Cultural Committee, R & D Committee, Sexual Harassment, ST/SC Grievance Committee, Grievance Committee, House-Keeping Committee etc.
PLACEMENT SUPPPORT CELL (PSC)
We have a well qualified and vibrant team of professionals for our training program, which makes the students “Employable Aspirants”. Our training cell not only imparts the qualities of being employable to the students but also gives them a virtual environment where they can understand about the corporate culture well before they apply for a job. The Placement team handles all aspects of placements at Biyani Group of Colleges right from contacting companies to managing all logistic of arranging for employability tests, pre-placement talks and conducting final interviews.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Biyani Shikshan Samiti gives scholarship to the meritorious students to acknowledge their achievements and encourage them to perform well in academics. A tuition fee waiver of 50% is given to the girls students who secure more than 90% marks in 12th board, 25% tuition fee waiver for the girls securing 80-90% marks and 10% tuition fee waiver for the girls getting between 70 & 80% in 12th boards.
KALPANA CHAWLA AWARDS
Biyani Shikshan Samiti is conducting Kalpana Chawla Awards for last 13 years to encourage the meritorious girls who secured first division in 12th board exams. Father of Kalpana Chawla, Shri B.L. Chawla grace the occasion every year as the chief guest to give away the prizes. This mega event is a small step forward by Biyani Shikshan Samiti in the field of girl child education and women empowerment.
BEYOND CLASSROOM
The practical teaching methodology at the Biyani Group of Colleges also incorporates various activities outside the classroom to inculcate professional and interpersonal skills among the students and enable them to face the competitive world. Some of these activities are NSS, Educational Trips, Industrial Visits, PEP, IOP, etc..
STUDENT COUNCIL
With the view of empowering students and making them future managers, the college has a tradition of appointing a student council in every academic year. The Student council has been divided in 4 houses named as – Maithili House, Mihika House, Urvi House and Vaidhehi House. Each house is having 7 core members headed by Captain, Vice Captain, Secretary, Treasurer, Discipline Incharge, Volunteer head and Assistant Cultural Head. Each house is having a team of volunteers working under them. The college gives ample opportunities to the students of the college to participate in all the events and activities during the year.
NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
NSS is a regular feature of our college. The college conducts NSS activities to inculcate the spirit of social service amongst the students. A number of activities such as Working in slum areas, Tree Plantation, Blood Donation Camp, Sports Activities, Nukkad Natak for social awareness, state level competitions are being organized and conducted by the NSS unit of college.
PEP & IOP
Personality Enhancement Programme (PEP) & Industry Oriented Programme (IOP) are essential and integral parts of the curriculum followed at Biyani Group of Colleges. These are conducted throughout the year for the overall enhancement of the personality of the students. Eminent professionals and speakers were invited to interact with the students. The emphasis is laid on soft skills to improve the professional and personal competence of the students. The wide array & assortments of topics chosen for PEP sessions are range from developing a positive attitude, table manners, business etiquettes, dressing sense, interview skills, group discussions, life skills, presentation skills, etc..
ENTREPRENURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL
EDC has the objective to create the eco system for startups among the students and inspire and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. It is funded by the Department of IT, Govt. of Rajasthan and has a collaboration with Startup Oasis for incubation and entrepreneurial development activities. Its main aim is to bridge the gap between ideas of the innovators and portfolio companies, ready to fund the projects so as to make them scalable and profitable.
INDIA-JAPAN TECHNICAL INTERNSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME
This programme is monitored by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi and National Skill Development Council (NSDC). Biyani Shikshan Samiti has been empaneled as the official Sending Organization by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for sending skilled youth to Japan to pursue paid internships. Biyani Group has its office in Japan and tie-ups with big Japanese organizations where the students can go for internships and advanced training.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
With the aim of being an active partner in Skill India Mission of Govt. of India, Biyani Shikshan Samiti has opened Biyani Institute of Skill Development and Jaipur Institute of Skill and Rural Development having affiliation with Rajasthan ILD Skill University, Jaipur to impart various Skill Development courses upto B.Voc. level in varied sectors. Biyani Shikshan Samiti is a partner with NSDC & RSLDC for various skill development programs. These courses will help our youth to get employment both in India and across the globe.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Industrial visit is an integral part of our course curriculum. Direct exposure to the work place, shop floors and assembly lines, along with interactive sessions with industry personnels, helps in the clarification of many concepts, issues and doubts of students from all streams. They are benefitted greatly as they observe or actively participate in industrial activities. Our students have visited number of institutions in public and private sector for their practical exposure in the field of Commerce, Management, Science, Social Science, Nursing, Law and Education.
EDUCATIONAL EXCURSIONS
Every year the students of Biyani Group of Colleges get opportunity to visit different parts of India and abroad. These educational trips imbibe personal and professional values in them as well as help them gain insight about our rich culture and heritage. They can understand India’s unity in diversity in terms of religion, traditions, craftsmenshhip and values. Foreign educational trips to Tokyo and other parts of Japan were organized in 2018-19. Students also visited Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Ooty, Nainital, Haldwani, Bazpur, Mysore, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Mount Abu, etc within the country.
EDUCATIONAL LOANS FOR STUDENTS
Biyani Group of Colleges has always been supportive and concerned towards the academic progress of their students, especially the poor, needy and meritorious students. In this perspective, we provide assistance to students in getting educational loan from nationalised and private banks. ICICI, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India and Axis Bank provides education loan facility to our students on priority basis, if they are found eligible as per their education loan scheme. The bank also has the facility to collect all education loan applications of students who are not from Jaipur centre and send them to their concerned branches/offices for processing, on priority. For availing the education loan students can fill an online application on website link of various banks.Further queries and details for the same can be taken from the concerned authority of the college.
GOVERNMENT CO-OPERATION AND SUPPORT
Acknowledging the efforts of Biyani Group of Colleges towards creating new avenues and projecting a better future for youth, the Government of Rajasthan has extended support to the Institution :
– Biyani Shikshan Samiti is just one step behind to get the status of BIYANI UNIVERSITY. Its status will be approved by the local legislation in the coming session and hence forth will act as an independent private UNIVERSITY.
– Biyani Shikshan Samiti has been funded by the Department of Science and Technology for various projects in Biotechnology.
– Department of IT, Govt. of Rajasthan has funded Biyani Entrepreneurship Cell and Incubation Centre to create an eco system for entrepreneurship within the organization.
– Biyani Shikshan Samiti is an approved training partner of AICTE, New Delhi and RSLDC, Govt. of Rajasthan for implementing PMKVY courses.
ICSI Study Centre
Biyani Shikshan Samiti and The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India, Jaipur chapter has signed an MOU to make Biyani Group of Colleges, Vidhyadhar Nagar campus as the study centre of Company Secretary.
LIBRARY
The College Library grants accessibility to 62,000+ quality books, journals and magazines, written by renowned Indian and International Authors. The library is continuously enriched with new books in each discipline.
E-LIBRARY
Keeping pace with the IT advancements, the College has developed an e-library where the students are provided easy access to e-learning in the form of audio-video lectures, e-books etc. For this purpose various video lectures have been uploaded on the college website and gurukpo.com. Various software and e-books are uploaded on the computers for easy access of students. The library also has DELNET membership to use its resources for sharing books, papers and articles among the institutional members. J-Gate database has also been purchased to achieve open access to journals published all around the globe.
LABORATORIES
BIOTECHNOLOGY LABORATORY
The Biotechnology laboratory is well equipped with hi-tech apparatus required for research and practical work. The lab is equipped with basic equipments like Laminar Air Flow, Autoclave, Micro Centrifuge, Rotary Shaker, B.O.D., pH Meter, Hot Plate & Deep Freeze. The lab also has PCR, mTGGE & Spectrophotometer & Nano-Spectrophotometer. 
CHEMISTRY LABORATORY
The Chemistry laboratory is well organized, properly ventilated and contains all the necessary chemicals and apparatus like Kipp’s Apparatus, Distillation Apparatus, Analytical Balance, Mircopipettes etc. It is also well equipped with the latest equipments such as UV/Vis. Spectrophotometer, Ultracentrifuge, Rotatory Shaker and Electronic weighing balance to carry out all the UG and PG experiments.
BOTANY LABORATORY
The lab has various models & botanical charts for easy assimilation by the students. It has the facility of Digital pH meter, Rotary Shaker, Laminar Air Flow & Digital Electronic Weighing balance to carry out the various Botany experiments. Besides this the lab is enriched with the various plants specimens, slides, charts & models. It is well equipped with all the latest equipments like-Electronic Microscope & Microtome.
ZOOLOGY LABORATORY
The laboratory is well equipped with all the latest equipments like Microtome, Light Microscope, Centrifuge Machine, pH Meter, Electrophoresis, PCR etc. Besides these the lab is enriched with various museum specimen, microscope, slides, charts & models for proper demonstration of experiments to the students.
PLANT TISSUE CULTURE LABORATORY
The College has a well equipped PTC laboratory with Laminar Air Flow, Autoclave, Rotator Shaker and Centrifuge & Culture Chamber. Students perform various experiments like Anther Culture, Embryo Culture, Shoot Tip Culture, Seed Culture & Root Cultures etc.
PHYSICS LABORATORY
The laboratory is well equipped. It consists of instruments related to Digital Electronics, Semi Conductor Devices, Optical Devices and Electrical Circuits. There are many Display Boards and Circuit Diagrams related to various electronic components and charts for various practicals so that the students many recognize and apply them in experiments.
COMPUTER LABORATORIES
The Computer Labs are fully equipped with all the latest facilities. There are three labs. A, B and C with 500+ computers. The computers are Dual Core Processors. There is a 24×7 Broadband Internet facility for students & faculties. Separate labs for Microsoft Office Specialist online examination and Tally Certification are also available.
MICRO PROCESSOR LABORATORY
The college has a Mirco Processor lab to meet the requirements of digital electronics and architecture discipline. It has VMC 8509 training kit based on 8085 micro processor with LCD display. Through this kit, the students can communicate with the outside world using a key board having 64 ASCII keys and LCD of 20” x 2”. This kit also gives the advantage of interacting with CRT terminal and printer.
GEOGRAPHY LABORATORY
The Laboratory has the latest gadgets and Instruments to enable the students in enhance their practical knowledge. Instruments such as Clinometer, Alidade, Tracing Table, Prismatic Compass, Plane Table, Dumpy Level, Theodolite, Maps and Top Sheets help the students to explore the practicality of the subject. To enhance the study, 3-D maps & 3-D diagrams of the various land features of earth surface and samples of rocks & minerals are also displayed in the laboratory. Availability of Audio-Visual Aids and software like ‘Google Earth’ and ‘Bhuwan’ in the laboratory help the students in understanding the conceptual framework of the subject. Students are made to showcase their knowledge through model display exhibition.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LABORATORY
An English language lab has been set up with State of Art Cutting-edge Technology for the enhancement of spoken English and Written Communication. The students and faculty members are provided with 90 hours of training at three level through comprehensively Crafted Syllabi. This lab has been set up with the aim to provide world class facilities to the students for learning English Language and improving their vocal strength.
NURSING LABORATORIES
The Laboratories are well equipped to give training to the budding nurses. The lab facilities for Nursing students includes – Fundamentals of Nursing, Anatomy, Physiology lab, Nutrition Lab, Community Health Nursing lab, Medical Surgical (N) lab, Biochemistry lab, Mircobiology lab, Pathology lab, Midwifery & Pediatric lab, Audio-visual lab & Computer lab. The labs have 3-D charts, Suction machine, Pulse Oxymeter, Oxygen Cylinder, Dummies, Operation Theater etc. for clinical demonstration of different procedures to the students.
RADIO SELFIE 90.8 FM (Community Radio)
Radio Selfie (Wah maza aa gaya…), is a smart initiative by Biyani Group of Colleges, located in Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. Radio Selfie 90.8 FM is a community radio which provides education with entertainment. Students who are interested in Radio Industry can get practical knowledge about how radio functions. The students can understand hands on working of a Radio Jockey, Show producer, Copy writer, Sound Engineer, Music Manager, etc. It gives awareness and a voice of local community about various social, political and economic issues. It is a brainchild of Prof. Sanjay Biyani. Radio Selfie will be committed to the community and to its mandate of ensuring the participation of people from all sections of the society.
BIYANI TV
Biyani TV an efficient production house, the foundation of which was laid by Prof. Sanjay Biyani. It boasts of the state of the art multicam shoot facilities, PCR editing for chroma shoot, etc. Several academic and knowledge based programmes are created for the viewers. It provides practical knowledge and training to the students of Journalism, Media and Mass Communication help them to learn various aspects of TV production. The Counselor Show, Khas Mulaqat, Dil ki Baat, English hai Aasan, The Career Path, Pearls of Wisdom are few of its numero uno programmes.
UTSAV (AUDITORIUM)
‘Utsav’ is a large air-conditioned hall with modern multimedia facilities and pleasant ambience, having a seating capacity of +550 people. All the important college events are organized in ‘Utsav’ Auditorium.
MANTHAN (CONFERENCE HALL)
‘Manthan’ is a conference hall having a seating capacity of 100 people. It is an air conditioned and well equipped multipurpose hall used for organizing meetings, conferences, guest lectures, students presentations and workshops.
CAFETERIA
The hygienic cafeteria in our campus provides healthy, delicious delicacies during and after college hours and is a popular hang out for hostellers and day-borders alike.
ANAND (MESS CUM RECREATION HALL)
In order to provide a family atmosphere to the hostellers, a mess cum recreation hall is attached to both the hostels where they can spend some of their leisure time. A television is set up in the mess area to keep the hostellers tuned to the day-to-day happenings around the world and also to provide them with some stress free time.
OORJA (GYMNASIUM)
The college has a well equipped gymnasium within the college campus with modern equipments such as – Tread Mill, Abdominal Exerciser, Upright Bike, Elliptical Recumbent, Spinning Bike, Big Steeper & Exercise Machine to inculcate fitness awareness among the students and to motivate them to exercise regularly, for good mental and physical health.
HOSTEL
The college has two hostels, one in Vidhyadhar Nagar (for girls) and the other in Kalwar (for boys). Each hostel has 3 blocks with comfortable, well-lit, well ventilated and furnished with wooden tables, chair, beds and wardrobes for all students. We have four/six bedded air cooled room with attached toilets and bathrooms. The facilities are in sync with our endeavour to provide a positive frame of mind along with quality education to the students. The environment of the hostel is very vibrant and homely. Lots of recreational activities like Excursions, Meditation, Exercise are frequently framed to enhance the Emotional, Psychological & Intellectual Development of the hostellers.
TRANSPORTATION
Biyani group of Colleges, understands the need for stress free Education. Hence, it provides transportation facility to students coming from distant areas. The College offers transport facility for students from all areas in and around Jaipur.
UNIFORM
The college has a prescribed professional dress code for the students as well as for the staff members, which creates a disciplined atmosphere in the campus. Uniform signifies Unity and Team Spirit, as it is reflected in our Organization.

As per the students requirement, a general store, saloon and ATM banking facility has also been provided within the college premises.
