On 2 Feb.’11 an Industrial Visit to KALWAR VILLAGE AREA was organized for Arts students. The students were made to understand the physical, social and economic life of the place and to learn the real life situation.

SHRI GANPATI LUBRICANTS (Neemrana) : was visited by the Commerce students on 27 Sept.10, located at VKI, Jaipur. The students learnt about the conversion black oil and extraction of petroleum. The production manager gave them a brief information about the process of conversion and extraction.

On 4 Aug.’10 CHEM INDIA DIAGNOSTICS Jaipur was visited by the science students to learn about the experiments related to the field of biotech. The students thoroughly enjoyed their visit as there was so much to see and study

An 11 days educational excursion to Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty was organized by the department of science from 22 Jan- 1 Feb.’11. The students visited the following industries:

INDO-AMERICAN HYBRID SEEDS (IAHS), BANGALORE – Students during their visit to IAHS, Bangalore were given inputs on Horticulture Techniques and Hybrid Seeds by Prof. Jai Chandran.

GANDHI KRISHI VISWAVIDYALAYA KENDRA (GKVK), BANGALORE The students visited this institution, where Prof. Shailjha, HOD Plant Tissue Culture interacted with them and gave them knowledge about the selection of molecular marker technique in crop improvement. The visit was highly liked by the students as there was so much to know and learn.

LABLAND BIOTECH PVT. LTD., MYSORE (To know about the Plant Tissue Culture the students were taken to this industry, where Dr. Geeta Singh enlightened the students with the new technologies that are used in PTC with biodiesel production from Jatropha Seeds.

CFTRI, MYSORE : The objective of visiting CFTRI, Mysore was to make the students aware about Food Technology and Cryopreservation this was brilliantly done by Prof. ASKVS Sharma. The visit was found interesting by the students.

KINGFISHER :During a seven days Educational-cum-Recreational tour from 30 Sept.-6 Oct., 10 to Mumbai-Goa, MBA students made a visit to KINGFISHER to understand the processing.
