World Environment Day
The institution marked the world environment day on 5 June '07 by planting various trees in and outside the premises. The students were motivated to plant trees on regular basis to make the environment greener and healthier to breathe in. The students were introduced to the thought of “conserving life through conserving environment.”
Inauguration of Curtain Fountains
The two curtain fountains were inaugurated on 14 July'07 Dr. Anuj Saxena, Project Officer, Science and Technology Development and R.K.Shahara, Chairman, Central Cine Association. The perspective behind the two curtainfountains is to keep the college building cool and comfortable in summers and to make the infrastructure of the institution more presentable.

Inauguration of New College Building
The new college building of our institution was inaugurated on 19 July'07 by Kirit Bhaiji, our spiritual mentor and Om Birla Ji, Parliamentary Secretary. Kirit Bhai Ji addressed the students and in his speech, he gave the divine position to the women by saying that “To worship women is to worship God” and told that a woman holds an important position in spiritual world. Om Birla Ji addressed the students and the staff members and said that discipline and respect towards teachers is important in education system and a tool to be successful in life.

Plantation Day and Guru Purnima
Plantation programme and Guru Purnima ceremony was organized on 30 July'07. Director, Dr. Sanjay Biyani addressed the students and told them the importance of trees and encouraged them to plant trees that will lead to good environment and monsoon rainfall. Ms. Rashika Arora, Lecturer (Biotech.) gave an informative presentation on plantation and environment. Principal Dr. Meena Sogani, Vice Principal, Mr. P.C. Jangid also presented their views on plantation as well as Guru Purnima.
As it was the occasion of Guru Purnima, Dr. Sanjay Biyani advised the students to be kind and respectful towards the parents and teachers which will cast a positive impact on their academics and personality.

Friendship Day
Friendship day was celebrated on 4 August'07 with fun, zeal and enthusiasm.Students exchanged friendship bands followed by dance party with their friends.

Plantation and Sapling Distribution
The institution encouraged plantation to keep the environment green on 9 August'07 . The chief guest for the occasion was Sh. Ashok Parnami, Mayor, Municipal Corporation. He encouraged the students to plant more trees and make Jaipur green. He also stressed on conservation of these precious natural endowments. Saplings were also distributed to the students on this occasion.

Inauguration of the Lift
The new lift at 'B' Block, BISMA was inaugurated on 16 October'07 by the esteemed guest Sh. Girdhari Lal Bhargava, M.P. The special guests for the occasion were Sh.Dharmadas Maharaj, Mr.Kamal Khatwani, Regional Sales Head, Otis Elevator Co. Mr. Khatwani told the students about lift technology. Sh. Girdhari Lal Bharghava appreciated the outstanding initiatives taken by our institution in the field of education.

Inauguration of Tally Course
Tally course was initiated on 3 October'07 by Mr. Tanuj Sinha, Senior head, Marketing, Tally Academy, Rajasthan. He gave the introduction of the course to the students and emphasized its object of self- employment and its theme “Earn while you learn”.

Eye Checkup
Dr. Mukesh Verma and his team members conducted an eye checkup for the hostellers on 9 October'07. He addressed the hostellers and made them aware of the eye care.

Exchange of Diwali Wishes Among Staff
On 5 November'07, all the staff members of the institution exchanged Diwali wishes through songs and poems. All the staff members were given gifts and sweets as a token of best wishes for Diwali. Chairman, Mr. Rajeev Biyani addressed the staff members mentioning the importance of Economic Management followed by the messages by the Director Dr. Sanjay Biyani, Principal and all the faculty members.

Children's Day
A small celebration was organized on the occasion of Children's Day on 14 November'07 when all the students sang songs and played dodge ball under the supervision of Ms. Kiran Nirvan (Phy. Instructor) and Mr. Satish Gupta (GNM). Sweets were distributed among the students as a token of Children's Day.

World Diabetes Day
World Diabetes Day was celebrated on 14 November '07. GNM faculty members Dr. Satish Gupta, Mr. Bhupendra Jain and Mr. Vishal Tak made the students aware of the etiology of diabetes such as heredity, hypertension, and damage to Pancreas, intake of intoxicating agents etc. They also mentioned the methods of its control and regulation by regular exercise, routine checkup and timely intake of medicines.

Information Technology Day
IT department organized IT Day on 21 November'07 by the conduction of a quiz based on computer technology. Four groups participated in a team of two students each. First position was secured by Priyanka Agarwal and Sangeeta Pareek and second position by Muskan Goyal and Neha Karnani. IT students Prerna Binani, Priyanka Agarwal and Swati Sharma gave their presentations on Blue Tooth, Wi-Fi Technique and PHP Language respectively.

National Flag Day
National Flag Day was organized on 23 November'07 in the memory of the soldiers who gave away their lives for the nation. The chief guest for the occasion was Col. Yashwant Rana. Dr. Sanjay Biyani gave away blankets to the war widows as a token of respect and regard for the dedication that the martyrs exhibited for their nation. The students of the college presented patriotic songs.

Career Fair at Ranchi and Patna
A two day 'Educational Worldwide India Fair'was organized from 24 to 28 November at “Hotel Capital Hill” at Ranchi. Biyani Girls College was one of the participants and received an inquisitive response from the students regarding the various courses running in the institute. Mr. Ramesh Rawat & Mr. Santosh Mishra represented our institution in the career fair.

Quiz and Dance Presentation on Doordarshan
150 students of Biyani Girls College participated in the quiz programme “Prashnottari” which was recorded in two parts; one based on “Current affairs” and the other based on “General knowledge of Rajasthan”. The students did extremely well in both the categories by responding to most of the questions correctly. The students also presented two dances. The programme was hosted by IAS, Sh. Mahendra Surana. It was aired on Door Darshan on 8 December'07 and 22 December'07.

Poster Exhibition at Jawahar Kala Kendra
Poster exhibition was organized by Biyani Girls College at Jawahar Kala Kendra on 11, 12 and 13 December'07. The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Sumitra Singh, Speaker, Vidhan Sabha. The topic was “Innovations in Education”. All the posters were based on the innovations and technological advancements in Biotechnology, IT, Commerce and Management, B.Ed and MJMC. Biotech posters were based on latest techniques such as Nanotechnology, Biochip, Super mouse, Spectroscopy, Genome profiling, Biorobotics etc. Commerce and Management displayed the posters on Guerilla Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility and Strategic Compensation Management etc. Faculty members also displayed 50 posters on “Success Mantras” during the exhibition.

Patna Book Fair 2007
Biyani Girls College put up a stall at Patna Book Fair 2007 from 15 to 18 December'07 and received a good response from the students who were curious about different courses run in the college. Mr. Vishal Tak and Mr. Ramesh Rawat represented Biyani Girls College.

Workshop on Report of Knowledge Commission
On 26 December'07, a workshop on Report of Knowledge Commission was organized at Biyani Girls College Campus with joint collaboration of BGC and All India Student Council (ABVP) to discuss the various changes in higher education and demands of students in the present era and the ways to fulfill them to make our education system more effective and accessible for every student.

Release of New Year Calendar
Chairman, Mr. Rajeev Biyani, Principal, Dr. Meena Sogani along with few faculty members went to the C.M. House for the release of a motivational New Year calendar on 29 December'07. C.M., Ms. Vasundhra Raje released the calendar and appreciated its theme. She conveyed the best wishes for the New Year 2008 to the entire staff and the management.

New Year Eve Celebration at College Campus
On 31 December evening room inspection of the hostel rooms was conducted by Director, Dr. Sanjay Biyani and the faculty members. The criteria for the assessment were cleanliness, proper decoration and welcome. Room no. 304 of block 'B' was awarded with the best room maintenance award.

After the inspection, Chairman, Mr. Rajeev Biyani and Director, Dr. Sanjay Biyani along with the faculty members and the students enjoyed a dance party and celebrated New Year eve with great zeal and enthusiasm. At 12'o clock Mr. Rajeev Biyani cut the New Year cake and distributed among the students.
