Q.1 Why the psychological test is relevant for admission?

Psychological test is relevant for admission due to following reasons.As we observe that each student has unique inbuilt qualities, it is very important to identify those qualities and interests and accordingly counsel them while selecting course for their future career.To know about the aptitude of the student in the different subjects and fields.Their motivation and focus towards academics.Their mental health (domestic problems, emotional and physiological health).Suitable counseling and guidance in all aspects of life.

Q.2 What is the unique feature of Biyani’s Group of Colleges?

Unique feature of BGC apart from good academic environment is PEP (Personality Enhancement Programme, IOP (Industry Oriented Programme), Certificate Courses, Microsoft Office Specialist, Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited, Tally etc., Professional Courses like CA, CS alongwith B.Com., BBA and crash classes for weak students as well as for non-commerce background students (for those who wants to take admission in B.Com. & BBA) and English speaking classes for students.
Note: For these features students are not being charged extra except for professional courses.

Q.3 Is there is any provision for education loan in BGC?

Yes, for education loans, we have an agreement with SBBJ for which you can refer to our website. As per the agreement the SBBJ has stated that “we agree to provide education loan facility to your students on priority basis, if they found eligible as per our education loan scheme, we will also collect all education loan application of your students who are not from Jaipur Centre and we will send them to our concerned branches/offices for processing on priority.

Q.4 What are the steps in getting admission in the college?

Following are the steps in getting admission in the college –
Step – 1 To appear for the psychological test.
Step – 2 Final Interview
Step – 3 Prospectus and admission form will be issued at the cost of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only). Provisional registration fees will be Rs. 10000/- (Rs. Ten thousand only) which will be adjusted in final fees. It is necessary to submit following documents at the time of admission –
Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination. (Original+ 2 photo copies).
Certificate of the Secondary Examination (1 photo copy).
Transfer certificate from the institution last attended (original).
Character certificate from the institution last attended. (Original)
Migration certificate (Original + 1 photo copy).
Passport Size recent colour photographs. (6 nos.)

Step-4 Remaining fees will be deposited afterwards at the time of final admission.

Q.5 When fees will be deposited?

Rs. 10000/- (Rs. Ten thousand only) will be deposited at the time of provisional registration and remaining fees will be deposited at the time of final admission.

Q.6 Is fees refundable?

No. Fees is not refundable in any circumstances.

Q.7 What is the special feature regarding biotechnology stream?

One of our directors Dr. Manish Biyani is a scientist in Tokyo University, Japan. At present he is providing lectures to our college students through video conferencing. As per scheduled plan his services will be available in the college from the session 2009-10. A separate website linked with homepage is provided for further details.

Q.8 What are the facilities provided in the college for physical fitness?

To encourage health and fitness among students besides academic performance, we have a full-fledged gymnasium with state-of-the art equipments within the college campus.

Q.9 Is there any uniform in the college?

To maintain the corporate culture, the college has prescribed professional dress code for the students as well as for the staff members.

Q.10 How you maintain proper attendance?

Attendance of students and staff members is taken through smart card system at the entry gate of the college while entry and exit every time. A proper classroom attendance register is also maintained to ensure the proper attendance of the students.

Q.11 Can mobile be used in the college premises?

No. Use of mobiles in college premises including hostel is prohibited to maintain proper discipline. For the convenience of the students, PCOs (coin box facility) are provided for outgoing calls.

Q.12 How much attendance is required in the college?

Minimum 75% attendance is required in the college.

Q.13 Is it necessary to appear in the internal examinations of the college?

Yes. It is compulsory for students to appear in the internal examinations, which are conducted twice in a year for the students. Regular parent teacher meetings are conducted after every internal examination to apprise parents regarding progress of students including their psychological reports.

Q.14 Is there any provision of scholarship for students?

Yes. Apart from scholarships from outside sources, college has its own scheme to provide scholarships to students on merit cum need basis. For this students should have secured atleast 80% marks in their last examination.

Q.15 What are the criteria for hostel admission?

Following are the criteria for hostel admission –
a) Psychological test.
b) Parents declaration.
c) Admission in the college.
d) Refer rules and regulations of the hostel for further details.

Q.16 Is the conveyance facility available for the students?

Yes, Biyani’s Group of Colleges has its own vehicles to provide transportation facility to the students.

Q.17 Do you have any placement support cell?

We have placement support cell for the students to get the employment in sectors like finance, marketing, nursing, bio-technology, media and entertainment, information technology, management, education and training.

Q.18. Is there any students grievance redressal committee in the college?

Students grievance redressal committee exists in the college to attend the students and parents grievances and resolve them at the earliest.

Q.19 How the internal functioning of the college is governed?

Internal functioning of the college is smoothly governed through the following–
College manual containing all the rules and regulations regarding various staff, departments and infrastructures available in the college.
Various committees are formed to conduct the college activities such as proctorial committee, cultural committee, industrial visit committee, sports committee, placement support cell and students advisory bureau etc.

Q.20 What are the courses running in your institute after 10+2 level?

We have B.Com., BBA, BCA, B.Sc., BA, CA, CPT, CS & many more.

Q.21 Do you provide Industrial Visits also?

We do.

Q.22 Can you name me some companies which have visited your campus for placements?

Q-Bit, Crash Tech, Anand Rathi, IBM Daksh, Balaji Tele Films, Linux, Wipro, Reliance and we have unending list. We have also some international visitors like from Japan.

Q.23 What is PEP and IOP all about?

Personality Enhancement Programme (PEP) comprises of confidence building, communication skills, time management, body language, diet and nutrition care etc. We invite experts in the respective fields to satisfy the queries of students on regular basis. Industrial oriented programme aims at exposure of the students to the industry based education like industrial tour and excursions, group discussions, mock interview session etc.

Q.24 What is the difference between MOS & RKCL?

MOS is a direct certification course for which you get direct certificate from California which you have to opt in first year and RKCL is a state board course which you have to opt in second year.

Q.25 If I am a student from non-commerce stream can I go for commerce and will extra classes be provided?

Yes, we have a provision for non-commerce students to go for commerce and we provide one month crash course to non-commerce students and to students who have problem in economics and accounts. We also have special classes for students who had Hindi medium and now wants to go for English medium.

Q.26 What are the options after BBA except MBA?

BBA actually is a graduation degree just like B.Com. So what ever you can do after B.Com. the same you can do after BBA like CA, CS, M.Com., MBA, Masters in any stream BJMC and many more.

Q.27 Is study material provided in the college?

Yes, besides class notes, we have our own publication “Think Tank” which clears the basic concepts of students and prepare them about how to answer the question in examination, these Think Tanks are prepared by our concerned subject experts. This is very beneficial for our students.

Q.28 Give me the details of college fee structure of various courses being run by the institution.?

Q.30 What is the difference between MBA & PGDM?

MBA is a course which is certified by University and PGDM is designed, developed and evaluated by institution itself. Both are approved by AICTE.

Q.31 What are the timings, if we pursue CA, CS along with Graduation course?

The timings for these classes will be in the evening.

Q.32 What is minimum eligibility criteria for admission in BGC?

For minimum eligibility criteria you can refer to our prospectus refer to appendix no. 6. The admission of a student will actually depend on the psychological test and interview by directors.

Q.33 About the last year result of the college?

You can refer to : Appendix no. 4.

Q.34 Whether industrial visits and educational tours are chargeable?

Industrial visits within city are not chargeable but outside the city are chargeable and education tours outside city are also chargeable.

Q.35 What are the new courses offered by BGC?

In new courses, we have M.Sc. (Mathematics), B-Tech, PGDM, RS-CIT and many more for which you can refer to our prospectus (See appendix no. 2 & 3)
